Cascade Health is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to assist with providing services at the Springfield Wellness Center including taking vital signs, triaging illnesses and injuries, performing EKGs and operating the autoclave. Assist with pre-authorizations, referrals, and obtaining medical records from specialists, PCPs, and insurance companies. This position will have a scheduled one-hour meal period.

Graduation from an approved Medical Office Assistant program, with current certification required. One year of clinic experience preferred.

Our clinic is low-volume, with high patient engagement. New visits are scheduled for a full hour and routine visits are scheduled for 30 minutes. A typical provider will see 10-12 patients a day providing excellent engagement and patient experience. If you would like to work in a low stress environment with ample time to engage with the patient population this is a great opportunity!
